This TV serial was a part of Sony TV’s “200 Entertainment Bonanza package.”Milan” aired on TV from 2000-2001 and was broadcasted for 1 season with total 58 episodes. Milan was a drama soap which was produced by producer Manish R. Goswami of Siddhant Cinevision and directed by acclaimed director Lekh Tandon. The title song of the show ‘Milan” was sung by popular singer Sukhwinder Singh, which became quite a hit due to its hummable tune.

The music director of the show Md. Zahur Khayyam won the award for the best music director at Indian Telly Awards 2002 for this particular song.This show proved to be one of the most successful projects for actor Rohit Roy post his hit show “Swabhimaan” on Doordarshan. This show also gifted the audiences a new face, a new actor in the form of 'Nattasha Singh'. The story of Milan revolves around four characters with Chanchal portrayed by actor Natasha Singh as the main protagonist, her love, and sacrifice for her family and her dilemma between her family ties, relatives and her in which she is caught. “Milan” depicted the ups and downs in the lives of four lovers, their emotions and its consequences on their respective families.
The characters of four lovers were played by Nattasha Singh, Rohit Roy, Karan Oberoi and Mauli Ganguly. The powerful supporting cast of the serial included actors 'Navin Nischol', 'Arun Bali' and 'Nandita Puri'. Every actor’s performance was commendable, and the lead actors emoted the theme of the series very beautifully. “Milan” was one of the most popular shows of its time. It's attractive performances and the heartwarming story struck a chord with the audiences.
